I wrote this little chorus to be used in a setting where healing is sought. It is meant to be soft and soothing. It might be used in conjunction with an anointing service. It has also been used as a choral introit.
The cleansing waves wash softly over me.
Their cooling waters form a tranquil sea.
Immerse me with your tender touch.
Bring wholeness that I need so much.
Your healing waves wash softly over me.
