See also Deed P-14-51; dated 4 Dec. 1776; in which George Martin and Elizabeth,
his wife, sold 1 acre 6 3/4 perches to the Mennonite Congregation, being part
of 122 acres 17 perches conveyed to George Martin by his father David Martin
and Elizabeth, his wife, June 22, 1764, "to be recorded." Apparently
this earlier deed was lost or destroyed, so the 1722 deed was drawn. These two
deeds show that David Martin was married to Elizabeth _____ by 1764, but that
Elizabeth had died by 1772. Philip E. Bedient provided the above information.
