152. Jacob HORST was born about 1734 in Mauer, Germany.¹²⁰ He died in Dec 1788.⁹² He was buried in Lichty Men Cem. He was a farmer. Emigrated from Mauer to Pennsylvania . In 1767 he boarded the "Minerva" at
Rotterdam, Holland with John Spurrier as captain. He traveled to Groffdale
where he had friends and relatives. He was known as poor Jacob Horst to
distinguish him from the more wealthy Horsts at Groffdale.
Clarke Hess only has year of death as 1788.
Burial at Lichty's is probable.
