I see myself as an amateur poet. I have had no formal training, but I have always enjoyed words. I am totally inept when it comes to painting, so I like to bare my soul through writing. You will find some of my work on this web site. Tonight I thought I would try my hand at Haiku. If you are not familiar with the structure of Haiku, the verses consist of seventeen syllables in 3 lines of five, seven, and five syllables each. I know not whether these are any good. I'll let you be the judge as I share with you four Haiku verses. - The Old Professor
